Do You Know a Mental Health Care Provider?

By October 5, 2022Blog

Volunteer Mental Health Care Providers Needed

World Mental Health Day is right around the corner – October 10, to be exact. It’s a day dedicated to acknowledging, discussing and prioritizing mental health and well-being.

Over the past 16 years, Give an Hour has worked to advance conversations about mental health and provide access to free mental health care for our military service members, veterans and their loved ones. We’re always on the lookout for licensed mental health professionals who would like to join the ranks of our provider network to help this deserving community and we need your help!

While providing individual counseling is only one of the many options offered by Give an Hour, it’s arguably one of the most important. And it’s no secret there is a shortage of mental health providers in the U.S. right now. In order to increase the number of people we can help, it’s imperative that we recruit more licensed mental health providers to join our network.
