I hope you are continuing to stay healthy during this time, both physically and emotionally. As you know, COVID-19 is affecting everyone right now.
Our physical health is very important, but I am also deeply concerned with everyone’s emotional well-being. One in five Americans have a mental health condition, but less than half receive the help they need. 90% of those who die by suicide have a mental health condition.
I’m afraid that the COVID-19 pandemic will worsen mental health worldwide.
For years, Give an Hour’s Campaign to Change Direction has been working to change the culture of mental health so that all in need can get the care and support they deserve. We are doing this through awareness campaigns just like this link to Healthy Habits during COVID-19. Educating all Americans on emotional wellbeing is our goal.
The need is tremendous. The goal is tough, but we can’t do this without you.
