Give an Hour partners with Ohio corrections and mental health departments to provide online Emotional Life Skills Training during September, National Suicide Prevention Month.

For the past 15 years, Give an Hour has provided no-cost mental health services to our nation’s most honored heroes: military service members, veterans, and their loved ones. Give an Hour has now added another group of heroes – staff on the front lines of corrections in the state of Ohio.

The Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction (ODRC) has been and continues to respond to COVID-19 to reduce the risk of exposure and transmission of the virus. The agency has been greatly impacted by the pandemic experiencing loss of life of staff members and offenders.
