Give an Hour’s (GAH) collaborates with VA employees to share training resources and provide care to those ineligible for traditional VA mental health services. Our partnership ensures that Veterans and family members have access to community based providers who practice current evidence-based treatment approaches. We work with VA colleagues and programs like Make the Connection, to foster mental health literacy and reduce negative perceptions associated with seeking mental health care. GAH is a resource for mental health care for those who are ineligible for VA services.

The toolkit specifically emphasizes TBI in justice-involved and Military/Veteran populations. This toolkit is designed to assist professionals in identifying TBI and associated co-occurring problems and to facilitate determining potential need for further evaluation and/or treatment/case planning modification. In addition, relevant information and resources for families/support systems are available.
