JE Dunn Construction has selected Give an Hour as a recipient of a 2026 Cornerstone Grant. Through its annual Cornerstone Campaign, JE Dunn invests more than $1.5 million per year toward an employee-selected charitable cause through intentional donations across the country — building on the company’s more than 100-year legacy of giving back.

For 2026, JE Dunn employees selected improving access to healthcare and mental health services for veterans as the campaign’s focus. Employees nationwide nominated organizations within the cause area, which were then vetted by the Community Impact team and a national Cornerstone Committee through an invitation-only grant process.

Give an Hour, which provides mental health support to people impacted by human-caused trauma, including veterans, service members, and their families, received the Cornerstone Grant on September 9,2026. The funding will help Give an Hour expand access to clinical care, peer support, and education for the veteran community.

“No veteran should have to navigate the path to mental health and well-being alone,” said Dr Trina Clayeux, CEO of Give an Hour. “What makes this partnership especially meaningful is that JE Dunn employees themselves chose to stand behind the veteran community. Their investment allows us to meet people where they are, strengthen the communities around them, and ensure more veterans have the support and agency to move forward.”

The grant was presented by JE Dunn’s Denver office, highlighting the company’s commitment to investing in the local communities where its employees live and work.

BOCA RATON, Fla. and Clarksburg, Md. | RangersAI, creator of the ScamRanger scam prevention platform, and Give an Hour, a national organization dedicated to providing mental health support to those impacted by human-made trauma, announced a collaboration to support participants and peer communities with tools focused on scam awareness, education, and early intervention.

The collaboration will introduce ScamRanger, an AI-powered mobile application designed to help users identify suspicious messages, understand scam tactics, and receive guidance on safe next steps before scams escalate.

Unlike traditional fraud systems that focus on suspicious financial activity when a transaction occurs, ScamRanger is designed to intervene earlier, at the point of initial contact, where social engineering, emotional manipulation, and trust exploitation often begin.

The collaboration comes at a time when trust in digital communication is rapidly eroding. Industry research shows that many consumers now hesitate to respond even to legitimate fraud alerts because they are unsure whether the communication itself is authentic.

“Scams today exploit trust and emotion as much as technology,” said Ayelet Biger-Levin, Founder and CEO of RangersAI. “We are entering a period where consumers increasingly struggle to distinguish between legitimate and fraudulent communications online. Prevention must combine technology, education, transparency, and compassionate guidance to help people rebuild confidence and recognize manipulation before financial or emotional harm occurs.”

As part of the collaboration, Give an Hour facilitators and participants will have access to scam-checking capabilities, educational resources, safety guidance, and customized messaging tailored to their community needs.

The initiative reflects a growing recognition that scam prevention requires a more human-centered approach, particularly for vulnerable populations and individuals who may be experiencing emotional stress, isolation, or re-victimization risks.

Research and lived experience continue to demonstrate that the effects of scams extend beyond financial loss. Many individuals impacted by fraud report feelings of shame, anxiety, grief, isolation, and diminished trust in themselves and others. By combining education, technology, and community support, the collaboration aims to help individuals recognize scams earlier while also addressing the emotional impact that often follows victimization.

The collaboration builds upon Give an Hour’s broader efforts to address the mental health impacts of financial fraud through peer support, educational programming, community partnerships, and public awareness initiatives. Together, the organizations hope to contribute to a growing national conversation about prevention, response, recovery, and the importance of supporting individuals affected by scams and fraud.

The partnership has moved into implementation, with facilitator education, participant onboarding sessions, and awareness content now being delivered to participants. An initial cohort of users is already active on the platform, providing early engagement and feedback.
