Participants will unpack the relationship between racial identity and trauma. Using the needed anti-oppression intersectional framework, participants will be able to develop practice

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

• Increased awareness of the intersectional relationship between race and trauma
• Identification of the impact of systemic oppression on violence perpetration and trauma survivorship amongst males
• Identify the connection between privilege, bias, and its impact on clinical service provision and outcomes
• Enhanced understanding of the collective and historical trauma experienced by African American males
