Rand Center for Military Health Outlines What We Know/Don't Know about Military Families

See this recent report on which finds that military kids experience some problems more fften than their civilian peers and that despite military-related stress, resilience is the norm among military families, among other issues: www.rand.org. The goal of the Center for Military Health Policy Research is to help the U.S. Department of Defense and Veterans Health Administration meet the challenges of providing the best care possible to this diverse population, while containing costs.

Give an Hour Co-Hosts an Introduction to Forensic Evaluations Training

On July 9, from 8:30am–12pm, a three-hour introduction to forensic evaluations for veterans was provided to interested volunteers by the Law and Psychiatry Division of Yale’s Department of Psychiatry, Give an Hour, and Connecticut Veterans Legal Center. Continuing education credits for psychologists was offered.
